2011-2012 German 3.Liga Season Review

An amateur club most of its history 2011-2012 German 3.Liga champion SV Sandausen will play it the 2.Bundesliga for the first time in their history.  Sandausen won the league by 2 points over VfR Aalen and 5 points ahead of Jahn Regensburg who were also promoted, Ragensburg via the playoffs. One concern regarding 3.Liga teams has been the ability to hold on to players and/or generate revenue from a sale when players leave this season no exception with only Kevin Kempl being sold to promoted side VfR Aalen for a fee well top prospects Ronny Garbuschewski and Marcel Reichwein.leaving on a free.
