2011-2012 English League Two Season Review

Led by Italian Manager Paolo Di Canio Swindon Town won the 2011-2012 English League Two Championship after being relegated to the league the season before. Shrewsbury Town and Crawley Town also gained automatic promotion by finishing second and third, Crawley has now gained back-to-back promotion playing in the Conference the season before. Crewe Alexandria finished 7th during the regular season  but achieved the final promotion via the playoffs and then sold the league top prospect Nick Powell to Manchester United for £6.6M
