2014 USL Pro Prospect Handbook

USL Pro Prospect Handbook with the top 25 prospects currently connected to an MLS club and the top 25 players who are not. I also included articles I wrote about USL Pro over the last year giving my opinions on the MLS/USL Pro alliance. Finally I added the final statistics and depth chart of all clubs during the 2014 Regular Season.

2015 MLS Draft and Homegrown signing period at the beginning of the 2014 NCAA College Soccer Season. I also added “a scout’s view”

Soccer Scout and, a recap of the 2014 prospects and a companion piece rating
the top 100 players in World Soccer under the age of 20 years old.
We also did a Gaffer & Hooligan Podcast on the topic
It’s our MLS prospects special!
We kick off the show in Segment 1 “The First Round” looking at the Top 100 MLS prospects list, talking about amongst other prospects Canadian international Cyle Larin, Jamaican international Omar Holness and newly called up US international Jordan Morris
We wrap up the show with Segment 2 “Last Call” looking at a few teams position of need and suggest a few players.

New Prospect Reports based on the 2012-2013 Football Season
I haven't been updating my blog since as many who follow me on twitter @ENBSports know that I joined the company Soccermetrics. This still means I'm updating my statistical database just finished all the statistics from the 2012-2013 season as well being part of a variety of exciting projects related to statistical analysis and analytics.
One project I did produce at the end of the 2011-2012 season was prospect lists of players from leagues I follow who has the highest market potential. These prospect reports are very popular in North American sports and my work with Football last season generated a lot of interest on the blog as well throughout the season as players who I had listed became the new stars in the world of football including Christian Benteke, Willian, Raul Rusescu, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Rickie Lambert and Mateo Kovacic to name a few.
We had some concerns about making this information available for purchase this season as some clients we are working for see advantages in the information being exclusive but like many projects Soccermetrics and I work on we want to give everybody access to expand the conversation on Analytics in Football This season with the resources and tireless work of Soccermetrics we decided to expand this work to include 25 players per league and include additional information and analysis. The prices reflect the amount of work and cost put into the project as well as maintaining some exclusivity in our ideas, analysis and the information we produce. Midseason Prospect Reports - All Leagues
At the end of the 2011-2012 season I did statistical reviews for the following leagues - http://enbsports.blogspot.ca/2013/01/2012-reviews-of-world-footballsoccer.html. Statistical Reviews are popular in North American Sports especially for leagues with a lot of different leagues like Baseball or College Sports. As part of this work I produced a top 10 prospect list for each league based on Statistical Output and Player Market Value. The goal of these prospect lists as well as the statistics is to give readers who may only follow a team or particular league a greater knowledge of the global game. I also feel in the business of soccer cross league transfers or just understanding other players in your own league is a good way in helping teams make successful purchases as well being fiscally responsible.
As of January 15th 2013 the prospects I picked at the end of the 2011-2012 season have combined for 5814 games and 1485 goals during the 2012-2013 season and were sold in transfers during the summer of 2012 and this past January transfer window for more than $668,000,000 Euros.
