2011-2012 French Ligue 2 Season Review

Some very large clubs in french football competed in the 2011-2012 French Ligue 2, but as clubs such as AS Monaco, FC Nantes and RC Lens struggled, lower profile clubs SC Bastia, Stade Reims and Troyes gained promotion to Ligue 1. Bastia won the title led by exciting prospects in Wahbi Khazri and Sadio Diallo with Diallo moving to Stade Rennes during off season. He was one of a number prospects joining Ligue 1 clubs during this off-season, other includes Gaetan Charbonnier, Djibril Sidibe, Roman Alessandrini well Geoffrey Kondogbia who was sold to Sevilla in the Spainish La Liga for €4M..
