2012 Finland Veikkausliiga Season Review

HJK won its 25th Veikkausliiga title in 2012 winning the league by six points over 2nd Place FC Inter. The league included great idividual performances throughout the season lead by top prospect Mika Ojala, the FC Inter midfielder finished the season 12 goals and a lead leading 17 assists and was sold to Swedish club BK Hakan at the end of the season. Other exciting players for the future is 18 year old striker Joel Pohjanpalo who scored 11 goals for the champions HJK and Petteri Forsell who scored eight goals and had eight assists with IFK Mariehamn before moving to Turkish club Bursaspor
