2012 Colombia Primera Apertura y Clausura Season Review

Both Colombia's Apertura and Clausura champions failed to make the second round in the other league. Santa Fe won the Apertura championship after finishing second during the Apertura league although finished 10th in the Clausura. Well Milonarios won both the Clausura league and playoffs after only finishing 13th during the Apertura league. This meant in the overall standings Tolima were actually the best team during both tournaments lead by Paraguayan striker Robin Ramirez who is also the leagues top prospect followed by La Equidad, Pasto, and Itagui with Sante Fe and Milonarios 5th and 6th in the overall standings.
