2011-2012 Argenina Nacional B Season Review

There was lot more attention paid to the Argentina Nacional B in 2011-2012 with River Plate participating after being relegated from the Primera the season before. On paper River Plate didn't disappoint as the side included France World Cup/Euro Cup winner David Trezeguet, veteran striker Fernando Cavenaghi along with young prospects Lucas Ocampos and the Funes-Mori twins. Although on the pitch, River Plate did not dominate only winning an exciting  championship race by a single point over fellow relegated side Quilmes. Top prospect Paulo Dybala also grabbed many headlines from River Plate as the 17-year-old scored 17 goals with Instituto Cordoba and has been compared favorably to fellow Argentine striker Sergio Aguero.
