I started tabulating Copa Libertadores statistics in 2006 so unfortunately I don't have information for this tournament prior to that date although I been told by Javier Cappi that Alexis Sanchez played in the 2005 Copa Libertadores for Cobreloa:

- He came in as a sub for Ruben Castillo at the ´51 minute in the 2-1 victory over Once Caldas.

- He came in as a sub for Daniel Perez at the ´82 minute in their 2-0 victory over San Lorenzo

- He came in as a sub for Fernando Martel at the ´55 minute in their 3-1 defeat over Guadalajara.
