Christianson was a on field leader for a Hoyas team who made it to the 2012 National Championship game despite being overshadowed by some of his teammates. Ian played 95 total games at the college/PDL level starting in every college game except one and should fill a role as a adequate box-to-box midfielder providing a MLS team greater depth.
